The Gran Sasso Center for Astroparticle Physics (CFA) explores nature from the interactions of high energy particles to the large scale structure of the Universe while seeking answers to fundamental questions about the origin, structure and composition of the Cosmos.
CFA is a joint facility of the Gran Sasso National Laboratory, University of Rome Tor Vergata and University of L'Aquila funded by Regione Abruzzo and European Union.
Housed at the Gran Sasso National Laboratory and led by Prof. V. Berezinsky, CFA promotes the research in the field of Astroparticle Physics, among its main research areas are Neutrino Physics, Dark Matter Physics, High Energy Astrophysics and Gravitational Waves.
